Work continues this week on tidying up some of the compound area getting it ready for landscaping.
Drainage
Work continues this week to deal with a partially blocked drain located in the open space at the top of the hammerhead of The Fairway (at the back of Kingsland Gate). This work will address the partial blockage and ensure that it does not become a future problem for residents. Work should not inconvenience residents given its location, but the area will be fenced off for health and safety purposes and residents will see machinery being used in that area.
Planing and tarmacking - Friday 14 November
Please be advised that on Friday 14 November the stretch of The Fairway between the first raised table with Sunningdale Road/Wentworth Road and the second raised table with Sunningdale Road/Wentworth Road will be closed between 8am and 5pm to allow for areas to be planed and retarmacked to address areas of pooling.
During this period the following properties will not have vehicular access (23, 25, 27, 29, 36, 38, 40 and 42 The Fairway, along with 36 Wentworth Road and 51 Sunningdale Road) and we kindly request that if you need your vehicle during that time that you park elsewhere at Kingsland Gate.
Alongside the planing and retarmacking taking place in the select areas above, there are areas of footpath that will also be addressed, along with the crossover outside 1 Sunningdale Road (which will also restrict access to that driveway during this period).
